The Platinum Crucible Classical Pilates Bridge TrainingLearn the system. Deepen the teacher. Find your voice.
A bridge training for qualified Pilates teachers who want to transition into the Classical Pilates system while honouring the knowledge, experience and individuality they already bring to their teaching. This is not about starting again. It is about building a bridge between what you already know and a deeper understanding of the Classical work. Alongside the repertoire, we explore the art of teaching: how you see, listen, communicate, make choices and hold space for the person in front of you.
The Promise
You will leave with more than a larger repertoire.
You will understand how the Classical system connects.
You will begin to see bodies differently.
You will become clearer about why you choose what you choose.
You will develop greater confidence in your own eye and voice.
And you will have a framework for continuing to grow long after the training ends.
You don't need to leave the teacher you already are at the door.
Bring your experience. Bring your questions. Bring your curiosity.
Bring yourself.
We'll build the bridge from there.

Why I’ve created this…
Through my own healing journey and twenty years of teaching and running a full-time Classical Pilates studio, I came to realise that the work we do as teachers reaches far beyond the exercises.
I created this program because I believe Pilates teachers are capable of so much more than delivering movement instruction. We work with people on many levels — physically, emotionally and energetically. Beneath every exercise, something deeper may be taking place.
When we learn to listen rather than simply correct, the body can become one of our greatest teachers.
Our bodies are designed to move towards vitality and healing, yet sometimes the mind gets in the way. This is true for us as teachers, too. We can spend years learning more exercises, anatomy, techniques and ways to help others while quietly holding ourselves back. We may doubt ourselves, compare ourselves, strive for perfection or remain safely within what we already know. I created this program to support teachers who are ready to move beyond those limitations. Those ready to dive deep into the Classical repertoire
This program is an invitation to step into that possibility. To trust your experience. To listen more deeply. To teach from a place of authenticity, presence and connection. Perhaps that is the real journey beyond the exercises: not becoming somebody else, but having the courage to become more fully ourselves.
Learn the system. Deepen the teacher. Find your voice.
The Platinum Crucible Classical Bridge Training is for qualified Pilates teachers who are curious about the Classical method and ready to deepen their understanding of the work — without disregarding the experience and knowledge they already bring.
This is not about starting again.
It is about building a bridge. A bridge between the teacher you are today and the teacher you are becoming. Together, we will explore the Classical Pilates system — its repertoire, order, transitions, connections and, most importantly, the intention behind the work. You will begin to understand how the Mat, Reformer and apparatus connect to create one intelligent, integrated system.
But this training goes beyond the exercises. Alongside learning the Classical work, we will explore the teacher behind it.
How do you see the body in front of you?
How deeply do you listen?
Can you trust what you notice?
Can you make confident choices without needing to have all the answers?
Can you hold space for another person while remaining grounded in yourself?
Through the principles of The Platinum Crucible, we will explore presence, listening, self-awareness, boundaries, trust, intuition, authenticity and leadership — qualities that allow knowledge to become embodied teaching.
My intention is not to teach you to become a version of me, or anyone else.
It is to help you understand the Classical system deeply, develop your eye, trust your experience and discover your own voice within the work.
You already bring something valuable to the room.
Your experience.
Your knowledge.
Your story.
Your curiosity.
This training honours where you have come from while giving you a pathway into the Classical system and the space to discover where it might take you next.
Know the work. See the body. Teach the person. Embody the system.
Welcome to The Platinum Crucible.
The Four Pathways
UNDERSTAND ~ see the system
CONNECT ~ discover the threads
TEACH ~ from knowing to seeing
EMBODY ~ finding your voice within the work
-
We begin with the foundations of Classical Pilates and, importantly, the why behind the work.
Rather than approaching Classical Pilates as a collection of exercises to memorise, we begin to see it as an interconnected system.
We explore:
Classical principles and philosophy
The order and purpose of the work
Mat and Reformer foundations
Apparatus as part of one system
Transitions and flow
Connections between exercises
Understanding the intention behind an exercise
Working with the body in front of you
Crucible principle: Presence & Listening
The invitation here is to become curious again. To observe before correcting and begin to see what the body is communicating.
-
Once we understand the individual exercises, we begin to explore how they speak to one another.
A movement experienced on the Mat may appear again on the Reformer, Cadillac, Chair or Barrels in a different form.
This is where repertoire begins to become a system.
We explore:
Connections across the apparatus
Fundamental movement patterns
Progressions and regressions
Choosing apparatus with purpose
Building towards more complex exercises
Identifying what a client needs
Teaching the body rather than simply completing the order
Crucible principle: Trust & IntuitionHere we begin developing the teacher's eye — learning to trust what we see while remaining curious about what we don't yet know.
-
Knowing an exercise and teaching another human being are two very different things.
This phase moves the focus from repertoire towards application.
We explore:
Observation
Cueing with clarity
Touch and appropriate hands-on teaching
When to speak and when to allow movement
Teaching different bodies
Making decisions in real time
Keeping clients moving
Creating flow without rushing
Building an intelligent session
Knowing when to modify, progress or stay
Crucible principle: Self-Awareness & Boundaries
We begin to notice ourselves as teachers too — our habits, tendencies, fears and assumptions — and how these influence the space we create.
-
The final stage brings the system and the teacher together.
The goal is not to produce a copy of another Classical Pilates teacher.
It is to understand the work deeply enough that you can stand confidently within it.
We explore:
Developing your teaching voice
Confidence and decision-making
Authenticity within the Classical system
Working with the individual rather than performing a method
Teaching with presence
Creating a safe and professional container
Integrating the Classical work into your existing teaching
Continuing your development beyond the bridge
Crucible principle: Authenticity, Leadership & IntegrationThis is where the work becomes yours.
Not because you change the system to suit yourself, but because you understand it deeply enough to teach it with integrity while remaining fully yourself.
“Jen is the top of her game, what I mean is you always get Jen, her authentic self. It's a wonder to be around her unique perspective and self awareness.”

A Classical Pilates Apprenticeship
Next Cohort January – July 2027 | In Person | Maximum 4 Teachers
The Platinum Crucible is an intimate seven-month Classical Pilates apprenticeship for just four teachers, created for those who want to explore the Classical system in a deeper, more personal way. This is not about rushing through repertoire or disappearing into a large teacher-training group. With only four places, I have the opportunity to truly know you — how you move, how you teach, where you feel confident and where there is space for you to grow.
Our work together takes place within my studio, a retreat space intentionally created to step away from the noise of everyday life. A place to slow down, immerse yourself in the work, ask questions, practise, observe and allow learning to unfold. Over seven months you will explore the Classical repertoire, apparatus, order, transitions and connections, developing not only your knowledge of the system but your ability to see the body, understand the person and trust your own teaching eye. Alongside the Classical work, the principles of The Platinum Crucible Guide invite you to explore the teacher behind the method — presence, listening, self-awareness, trust, intuition and authenticity.
You are not coming here to start again or become a copy of another teacher.
You are bringing everything you already know and everything you already are.
Together, we build from there.
Four teachers. Seven months. One retreat space.
A place to immerse.
A place to deepen.
A place to become.
Learn the system. Deepen the teacher. Find your voice.
Investment: £3200. To secure your place a £950 deposit is required and the rest in seven monthly instalments.
